Furnish a bathroom with a freestanding bathtub

If you too are lucky enough to have a large enough bathroom, make the right choice and put a nice bathtub in the center of the room!

The first rule: space

The first element and the absolutely indispensable one in order to have a freestanding bathtub is space. In fact, you need a nice large room so that you can comfortably walk around the tub. You also need space to install the mixer. The mixers that match the freestanding bathtubs are the floor mixers: they have this name because they rest directly on the floor and are high enough to reach directly beyond the bathtub in order to fill it. They are always equipped with both a hand shower and a water spout.

The second rule: style

Never neglect this aspect! A freestanding bathtub, whether modern or stylish, is the absolute protagonist of the bathroom and must be surrounded by a suitable environment. In fact, the rest of the furniture must be in line with the style of the bathtub but must not overwhelm it or make the environment too heavy otherwise you risk obtaining a slightly tacky effect. And still speaking of style, there is a gem that you cannot miss. There are some tubs that are made in line with the sinks: the sinks are the exact miniature copy of the tub. And that's a real touch of class!
