Ceramica Flaminia has its origins almost 60 years ago. In fact, in 1955, a group of workers, tired of the working conditions within the ceramic companies, decided to resign from the old companies and launch themselves into a new project: Ceramica Flaminia.

A company that has invested its passion and experience from day one to guarantee customers high quality products. To always keep up with trends and be able to always satisfy its customers to the maximum, the Ceramica Flaminia staff had to implement some innovative systems within its products that could guarantee maximum functionality and also maximum innovation. This is how some of the technologies were born that have made Flaminia products even more famous: GoClean, GoSilent and Too full. In this article we will talk about how they work.

What is GoClean technology?

GoClean® is a technology developed by Flaminia to guarantee greater hygiene and practicality for sanitary fixtures compared to traditional sanitary fixtures.

It consists in the implementation of a new exhaust system without giving up a modern and original design. The Ceramica Flaminia group has partially modified the interior of the toilet. The Flaminia models, in fact, are all rimless, i.e. the upper and internal edge of the toilet (the part from which the flush water comes out). Removing the rim, in favor of a smooth and easy to clean surface, is the strategy that Flaminia implements to obtain better rinsing of the entire bowl with consequent better sanitation.

The first point to highlight about sanitary fixtures with the GoClean system is sanitization. Because thanks to the removal of the rim and the addition of the innovative flushing system, the toilet becomes simpler and quicker to clean. An element that proves useful and practical not only for home toilets, but above all when talking about solutions for public toilets.

Controlled rinsing has also been added together with the GoClean system, a system that guarantees lower water consumption and therefore takes care of the environment.

GoClean technology is available on various product lines, first of all the APP line, followed by the Link line and the Spin line and finally the Bonola.

GoSilent system

The GoSilent system is an innovative exhaust system that allows you to have a very quiet exhaust. The silence of the drain has always been an annoying element to which no one has ever found a solution, but thanks to Ceramica Flaminia, there is a solution for this too.

Evolving from the GoClean system and combining all its innovative features, we also try to offer the customer a product that guarantees maximum comfort, thus also eliminating the annoying noise created by the drain. This system, in addition to facilitating cleaning of the internal surface of the toilet, ensures greater hygiene and lower water consumption, all this with a noise reduction of approximately 50% compared to any traditional toilet.

This technology perfectly represents the way of working of Ceramica Flaminia, which every day is inspired by people's needs and tries to find practical answers to improve the quality of life of customers even in small things. The overflow hole, an evolution attentive to design

With this innovation we can see how Ceramica Flaminia pays attention to details and to improving the experience of its customers, always guaranteeing an elegant and high-class design.

The hole called with a hint of irony "Overflow" is the hole found inside the sinks or bidets and which has the function of letting the water flow out when it exceeds a certain level and risks leaking out of the basin.

In traditional sinks, this function was carried out by the three small holes positioned in the upper part of the sink. Recently, in the latest generation sinks, this hole has been omitted in favor of a more linear and cleaner style.

One of the reasons why this hole is absent in modern sinks is the fact that now many sink models are equipped with very fine and thin edges which do not allow the creation of a free chamber for water to pass through.

It is absent in bowl sink models, this absence can be compensated for thanks to the latest generation drains. A solution on which Ceramica Flaminia pushes a lot for washbasins which do not include an overflow hole.
