Difference between hydrobrush and bidet shower
Hydrobrushes and bidet showers are products that are increasingly used in renovations but are profoundly different from each other. Let's see the features
Hydrobrushes and bidet showers are very useful products in renovations and are increasingly present in modern bathrooms: their spread has begun in public or hotel bathrooms but are also gaining ground in private homes.
Shower, bidet and hydrobrush: what are the differences?
Often these products are confused because they are aesthetically very similar: both are mounted on the wall next to the toilet and are characterized by the presence of a flexible hose and a hand shower (usually much smaller than that of the shower).
The hydrobrush is a real evolution of the classic toilet brush: it is characterized by a push-button or lever shower with a small hole for the water outlet capable of producing a very intense jet of cold water.
Thanks to the hydrobrush, it is possible to clean the toilet after use extremely quickly and much more hygienic than a traditional toilet brush.
Abroad the hydrobrush has been a reality for several years and is used above all in hotels, but also in many private homes: in recent years this trend is also entering the renovation of Italian bathrooms thanks to the hygiene and practicality of use that is able to ensure.
The installation of a hydrobrush is quite simple: it is mounted next to the toilet and only needs a cold water point next to which a practical tap is also prepared that acts as a safety valve to shut off the water.
This sort of stopcock represents an extra safety for bathrooms that are also used by children who could accidentally operate the hydrobrush by playing with a jet of water that is too strong for them.

What is the toilet-bidet shower?
As we have seen, they are two aesthetically very similar products but the same name refers to two very different functions.
The name hydrobrush already refers to the cleaning of the toilet through water while the bidet shower suggests the cleaning function of the body.
The bidet shower is a personal hygiene tool and is extremely useful in small bathrooms where it is not possible to install the bidet. It is also an excellent solution for bathrooms used by elderly people or people with walking difficulties.
Normally the bidet shower has more holes and, consequently, the jet is softer, with a spray effect and is also equipped with a small mixer to be able to easily adjust the water temperature.
The bidet shower is also installed next to the toilet and, if equipped with a mixer, it will need the connections like any other mixer.
